The Fibonacci Sequence – a numerical sequence that mathematically describes the logarithmic spiral found in many natural elements – was the inspiration behind the design of Purdue University’s McGinley Plaza at Discovery Park.  The Discovery Park fountain, a Purdue landmark, features iconic imagery representing Purdue’s historic advances in discovery, as well as familiar campus images.
