A new chapter in community connection has arrived in Connersville!
On April 16, the City celebrated the grand opening of J. Long Memorial 2nd Street Park - and we’re honored to have served as a landscape architecture advisor for this meaningful project.
More than just a park, this is a community-created space brought to life through local vision, generosity, and a shared commitment to public life. Designed with connection, play, and reflection in mind, it offers something for everyone.
Guests kicked off the celebration with a scenic ride on the Whitewater Valley Railroad, arriving in style to explore the new amenities and honor the spirit of collaboration behind the project.
From arriving in style aboard the Whitewater Valley Railroad to exploring fresh park features designed for gathering, play, and reflection, the day marked more than just a ribbon cutting - it was a celebration of local vision, generosity, and place-making.
