On March 13th, we joined the City of Marion and project partners to celebrate the groundbreaking of a new multi-use trail that will connect downtown Marion to the Cardinal Greenway! This project is a key step in enhancing mobility, public space, and economic vitality — realizing the city’s vision for a more connected and vibrant downtown.
Funded by a Next Level Trails grant, this 0.6-mile trail will feature a separated concrete path, new landscaping, lighting, and an improved railroad crossing.
We’re excited to see construction progress and look forward to its completion in summer 2025!
