The revitalized Glick Fountain at Newfields is officially flowing!
The fountain’s grand opening was May 7th, 2025. Originally designed as the grand finale to a formal vista by Olmsted Brothers' Percival Gallagher in the 1920s, the fountain has been reimagined with new water and lighting effects- plus choreographed shows set to music by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra.
New paths, benches, and lush plantings invite visitors to linger and enjoy the surrounding gardens. We encourage you to experience the revitalized fountain and historic charm of this iconic landscape!
