The new splashpad at Upland Park has officially broken ground!
We’re excited to see the Town of Upland’s vision for are vitalized Upland Park move from planning to reality. Guided by community input, REA’s plan brings together inclusive play, gathering spaces, and recreation experiences, including a new splash pad, modern playscape, event lawn, and multi-sports courts.
REA developed a Master Plan for Upland Park that incorporated and identifies priorities based on community input from an open house exercise. Design features took into consideration connectivity, upgraded facilities, inclusive programming, and destination experiences.
Guests are greeted at the park with a new splash pad with varying elements and water effects that cater to all age ranges. Adjacent to the splash pad will be a modern playscape with zones for 2-5 and 5-12 year olds in a more playful, exploratory environment with added play value.
