Purdue University, Gateway Building Plaza

A new plaza forms outside the new Gateway Complex for the College of Engineering and the Purdue Polytechnic Institute. We are working with BSA Lifestructures as the prime architect for two new buildings that, along with the Nuclear Engineering Building and Michael Golden Laboratories, will constitute the overall Gateway Complex.

We are leading the landscape architecture components to design an interactive promenade and gathering plaza complete with shade trees, seat walls and potential public art installations along the new Student Success Corridor. A promenade along the south side of the building will provide a secondary path, a connection to the café, and shaded outdoor seating for the campus community.
